Train-To-Trail Program
Train-To-Trail is perfect for dogs in Rockridge, Temescal, and Elmwood who need the exercise of regular professional dog walks but aren’t quite ready for prime time. We
refer trainers who will work on recall, leash skills, basic manners, and social skills to make sure your dog is ready to enjoy safe outings with us.
Train-To-Trail details
Trainers works one-on-one with your dog on the trail or in your neighborhood, building the skills necessary for safe, successful group outings.
The basic cost is $300 per week. However, the trainer may negotiate a different price with you. Any price increase will go directly to the trainer and must be
confirmed in writing.
We require a 4-week minimum training commitment.
It’s our responsibility to keep your dog safe on hikes or walks with us, so we insist on the time needed to do the job right. At the end of the initial three weeks trainers reassess to determine whether your Fido will be ready to join one of our groups. And they’ll always be up front and honest with you if we don’t think your dog is a group walk candidate.

Our Canine Manners Tutoring Program is perfect for dogs who jump, pull on leash, ignore requests to come when called, bark a bit more than is warranted, and just generally don’t get the concept of polite manners.
You’ve got plenty on your plate without adding dog training to the list. We’re happy to do that bit for you.
Tutoring Program Details
Trainer works one-on-one with your dog. You don’t even have to be there. Trainer shows off your dog’s progress and teaches you how to enjoy the results of their labor.
$405 per week
We require a 3-week minimum training commitment.
Our referred trainers can make training progress that sticks after we’re gone. Most cases require 4-6 weeks, depending on your dog and your dog training goals. 3 weeks allows the trainer to make strong progress so you can choose whether to “take the leash” from there or have us continue for you.
